Location eggs in a pot. Cover with cold water until the eggs are covered by about 1 inch of water.
Bring to a boil, discovered. When boiling, remove the heat.

No such thing as perfect, but there is such thing as eggcellent.
That was pretty seggsy
Lol
Come on Marcos
@Aisha just like the egg shelld
you should be eggs-ter-minated..
30minutes for just eggs?
aint nobody got time for that.
@KitZune You obviously haven’t had a hard to peel egg. Lmao, when you start to peel it and it’s come off in chucks of egg white. I swear it’s maddening. Well worth the 90 minutes especially when your cooking them in mass quantities. Eggs, egg salad, and deviled eggs are low/zero carb wonders, if your using the right mayo atleast.
@Monkey D Luffy I mean… replying to this from 4 YEARS AGO… to say: Yeah.. obviously I’ve learned some tricks on how to peel eggs because I have encountered MANY hard-to-peel eggs. Farm-fresh eggs are also harder to peel than ones that have been from a grocery store. The longer you can leave the eggs before they rot, the easier they will be to peel when you hard boil them. In the end, I wasn’t saying not to do anything in the video. If it saves you time, it saves you time. I was only offering advice on how to peel eggs from someone who has peeled a LOT of eggs. Leave the egg peeling to Sanji, oh pirate king-to-be. ; )
You don’t just stand there and watch while the water boils
@Jennifer Young I boil mine for exactly 12 minutes regardless of the amount of eggs. Comes out perfect every time. Once the water is boiling the temperature is exactly the same regardless of how many eggs are in the pot, so no need to add more time for each egg. That makes no sense.
Lasts you the hole week
it’s really helpful. We know that hard-boiled eggs are pretty difficult to cook.
You don’t have to watch them the whole time. Set a timer and multitask! The results are worth it!
Thank you for making a clear and to-the-point video.
I’m a 13 yr old and my parents are at wrk so I have to make myself breakfast
Haha I knew how to make them, but I want to make sure to not burn my kitchen 😅
Damn your like 17,18 now. Your parents still at work
Wow your probably 16-17 now that’s wild
Same but I’m 12
One day we’re gonna look at this comment and be like damn bruh, you’re 30 years old now
Shirt and sweet and to the point!! Love it!!! Thank you!
My sister did exactly this. Let them sit for six minutes. Absolute (soft-boiled) perfection
Wow! That was the most comprehensive and Informative video that I’ve ever seen on hard boiled eggs. Good job guys! I just subscribed, and clicked the bell for notifications. Lol
Globe’s Mine and Swift too, with spaghetti western music background ..loved it.😄
This method works and it didn’t seem like a long process! The only thing is… My heavy handed self pushed down too hard on the egg (so one was cracked in half 🤣)… Other than that, very good method!
For hard boiled eggs: I bring mine to a boil and let them boil 2 minutes. Take off heat and let sit, uncovered, until cooled. Comes out perfect every time!
Actually I was having a problem with peeling boiled eggs, and this video just solved the problem!
THE POINT!
I have been cooking my eggs this way since I was 15. I am now almost 70. Recently I tried an alternate method . Bring the water to a boil first and then gently add the eggs. Turn off heat and cover and let stand for 5 to 15 minutes. Try it. I think you will find it to be a superior method. Happy trails!!
Thx I guess u have much eggsperience
@Ryker Rojas I can’t believe it took two years for somebody to come up with that pun. 🇺🇸👍😎
@Tin Man i just saw the but those eggs were delicious
Ya just tried this and my egg shells are sticking like mad. So….
Literally just tried your method. Absolutely wonderful! The eggs came out so tender. The shells were a breeze to peel off. Also, judging by your responses on your reply section, you seem like a person I could drink whisky with whilst pondering the particularities of the universe. Cheers and happy trails!
I’ve never heard about covering the pot after boiling. This has changed my egg cooking days forever. 🥚
So refreshing to watch a quick, to the point cooking video.
I feel ashamed the fact I search for “how to boil eggs”
Yeah I should know how to do this
Don’t, half my egg are still left in the shell..
Your not alone
I mean when I tried it before looking it up it was a disaster. They sat in the pan forever boiling and turned out real nasty
