I only peel older parsnips if they are going into a stew/casserole. Most veg roasted don’t need to be peeled. Lots more flavour.

Talk about my own stamp on stuffing, I put water chestnuts in with cranberries sausage and herbs the crunch of the water chestnuts are like celery even tho the celery is in there it adds texture and what I like to do is put the portion inside a portobello mushroom cap as their portion a great side dish with provolone slice of cheese on top. Our salad has pine nuts toasted and mandarin oranges in it … Very nice recipes love the braised cabbage idea. My grown son lives on red cabbage usually raw but Iβll have to teach him this recipe. And he loves fennel. This almost sounds like a German recipe ja very Gud .and thank you for working so hard to produce recipes for us. Everyday I eat breakfast and watch your videos as one cannot just watch, the videos make me hungry. And .. thatβs an awesome rocker coat ya have Vikki in New York
