I hate it when people from here in the islands say ahi tuna. It’s like saying tuna tuna
Relax i bet u probably say chai tea
@kaiingoglia3974 Nope. I bet you’re probably one of those people that call a ukulele a youkuhlaylee though lol
I always found it odd when people would do the same thing with Japanese words. For example Mount Midori-yama for American Ninja warrior or Ono axe (yama is mountain and ono is axe in Japanese).
it’s weird and annoying for sure, but we cant expect everyone to know every culture and language so it’s easier on our tempers to just let it slide imo
Bao bun, naan bread, though I have a soft spot for gorilla gorilla gorilla 🎉

Poke is 🔥🔥🔥
Kia Ora/Mahalo my brother from another mother, a Māori here from Aotearoa! Try this method cousin…Dice and prepare your fish for Poke as usual then add lemon juice to lightly cook fish, then add finely diced spring onions, then add diced red and yellow capsicums, add a can of your favourite fruit salad mix and then finally add your favourite coconut cream, carefully but thoroughly mix all ingredients and cover with clean film and leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours minimum and serve! He tino reka, absolutely delicious my bro! 😉🥰🤝
That sounds really good…I will try this for sure!
That does sound good, I am going to have to try that as well …

Poke on rice is like ketchup on eggs. Go ahead if you want, to but you’re really not supposed to. We used to pick up poke from the store & just eat it with some chopsticks & beer.
It’s like kinilaw❤
Bro that fake salmon is showing. Look at how it falls apart and separates even while slicing it. Real salmon doesn’t do that
That’s not salmon. It’s tuna.
The only poke I remember growing up was just tako or ahi just by itself in containers from longs
Parasite foods
