NYC gets the most love anyways. They have an international community , foods of all nationalities and races , so most food episodes are in NYC. This episode is just highlighting the presence of good tacos in NYC , which are more common in LA , since Mexico is right next door.

People will pay 5 dollars for a garbage chalupa at taco bell with barely any meat but will question homemade food. I am lucky I got a killer taco truck that sells loaded carne asada tacos for 2.79 with enough meat that 3 will fill you up.

OK I’m from LA. I was just in NYC this August. I was somewhat reluctant to even try to find good tacos in that town. I had heard many times that there were no good tacos anywhere on the east coast. I found good ones at a place called Tacos Mexico in Corona Queens. Being from LA and finding tacos THAT good I was very surprised!!
