Brinjal Masala for Biryani, Pulao, Chapati/ Brinjal Curry Recipe/ Baingan Masala

Coconut 4 tbl spoon
Cinnamon stick
Cloves 3
Cardamom 1
Cashews 10
Poppy seeds (kasakasa) 1 teaspoon
Fennel seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Pepper 1/2 teaspoon
Chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder 1 teaspoon
Grind to a paste & keep aside
Oil 2 tbl spoon
Brinjal 250 grams (slit like this).
Fry till brinjal turns soft & golden brown.
Keep aside.
Onion 1.
Saute till onion turns light brown.
Tomato 1.
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbl spoon.
Saute well.
Ground paste.
Turmeric powder.
Salt.
Saute for 3 to 5 minutes in medium flame.
Tamarind juice of amla size.
Add water.
Mix well.
Enable to boil.
Fried brinjal.
Cook for 8 to 10 minutes in medium flame.
Coriander leaves.
Mix well & turn off the flame.
