How To Make Kevin’s Famous Chili from The Office

Scranton's very own Kevin Malone, er, Brian Baumgartner, actor/comedian from "The Office," dropped in the Test Kitchen area to make a batch of his famous chili from his new cookbook "Seriously Great Chili Cookbook: 177 of the Best Recipes on the planet."
Brian's chili, which is influenced by Kevin's notorious scene from "The Office," has everything you could want: savory ground beef, ancho chili powder, and a smart secret component (hint: it's beans from a can).
Brian shares not simply his love for this one-pot crowd pleaser, but also what his character Kevin has actually done to bring pleasure to so many audiences and the gloriousness of physical funny. You will not wish to miss this one!

    1. That and Walt throwing that pizza over his house,,,, there goes a perfectly big pizza to waste!

  3. I genuinely felt so bad when he dropped the chilli in the show and watching this reminds me of the good ol days when the office was on ! Good stuff

    1. His worried sad face as he scoops it up to put back with a clipboard 📋. Very sanitary im sure the office enjoyed it. Lul.

Side note i always laugh thinking about the carpet the film crew had to cut out after you can actually see cut marks after that on the floor slightly.. Lul

  4. If you would had told me Kevin and Munchies would do a collab video, I would’ve called you crazy.

    1. Dude it’s 2022 we’ve passed that phase everyone is with everyone nowadays

  5. kevin is appearing in so many youtube channels this month, his agent or marketing team must be doing big things

    1. Kevin and Creed are my favorite characters because they’re 100% real people.

    2. @John M seriously, I’m getting so sick of seeing this dude’s face on a nearly daily basis trying to grasp onto every penny “Kevin” can get for him

    3. @John M lmao everyone is salty because he’s someone you want to make fun of but he’s rich & more successful than us so what can we do

    4. @retiredanarchist I don’t dislike him and I don’t fault him for using his fame. I just think it’s funny how much he’s doing off of one role and in particular one scene.

  6. 🤣🤣🤣 He’s a great actor! Not hearing his “Kevin Voice” feels so weird!

  7. My mom always used Bush’s Chili Beans in hers, so now I have to use them too. Chili doesn’t taste right without them. They have their own flavor I don’t think you can easily replicate.

  8. Already got the book, its great and new types of recipe I would of never thought for chili style. Glad I got it even though I have not made one as my food store does not carry a lot of the peppers and other ingredients I need.

  9. 1:35 When I was a bachelor I made chili all the time and lived off the leftovers. It is the perfect mix of being somewhat healthy, easy to make, and uses cheap ingredients (especially if it’s vegetarian or has ground turkey instead of beef.)

  10. I absolutely love a good pot of chili. I’m a huge fan of slow cooking it in a crock pot. The leftovers are delicious for a couple of days. You just can’t go wrong with a pot of chili… doesn’t matter the recipe. I actually never use a recipe… just go with what sounds good at the time.

  11. I love how his Kevin voice slowly creeps through and how he stares at the camera like the show 😅

  12. Dude could host a cooking show, he’s so smooth with his delivery while cooking at the same time 🙂

  13. This recipe is awesome and easy, I threw in some jalapeño and accidentally dumped a bunch of cayenne in so it’s hot as hell but delicious. Used brown sugar in place of white and it worked well too. Thank you Brian awesome video.

  14. Love to see him doing this cause it doesn’t take a great chef to make amazing food just look at he’s cutting skill. ❤

  15. Brian Baumgartner is definitely winning on the social media outreach front in comparison to a lot of his past castmates. He might not have the biggest mainstream following but he’s really rapidly gaining traction in online spaces.

  16. Came here cuz I immediately saw Kevin with his special homemade chili.. and because I love to cook ❤

  17. Kevin dropping the chili is the single greatest moment in television history
