Concealed in the back of a pool hall in the Bronx is a tiny cooking area slinging plates of delicious Dominican food, all homemade by Anita Belen Romero.

“in the bronx” … god forbid you tell us WHERE in the bronx so we can go get some
I know right?! Luckily, I live in the Bronx not far away. I actually have passed this spot numerous times as it is VERY obscure; thought it was just a bar/pool hall. Here’s the details: Anita’s food hall is located at the corner of East 167th St & Grand Concourse; the NE corner to be exact. Public transportation is the B/D train π or #4 –>167th St. By π the Bx 1/2 buses stop via the GC @167th St or the Bx35 runs via 167th St and stops IN FRONT of the Billiards π± The neighborhood is Morrisania/Mount Eden and very close to Yankee Stadium.
Any questions, let me know… you’re welcome π€ π βοΈπ½
