    1. For real! I thought it was just me getting an upset stomach after a kale salad till doctor Paul Saladino explained it to me

    2. Its like how you’ll lose weight when you get sick. Its just that the dietary restriction forces you to eat moderately healthy. But that doesnt mean its the only way to be healthy

    3. โ€‹@jdubbs3634if you get an upset stomach from a kale salad you have an entirely different set of problems.

  1. Haven’t ate meat in 9 years best thing I ever done. Still big guy but I feel better than when I was growing up/ a teenager.

  2. My friend gained 50 1bs going vegan and was eating Oreos and twizzlers all the time

    1. Bro did not gain weight from going vegan, he gained weight eating oreos and twizzlers..

    2. โ€‹@fboom89 Oreos and twizzlers are vegan. That’s the point. Vegan does not equate to healthy.

    3. @ShandaP018 Not arguing that, you can have a bad diet regardless, but no one goes vegan to eat oreos

  3. Everybody’s got a right to take care of themselves lol what’s so hard to understand about that

    1. The point people are making is that being vegan doesnt make you healthy, usually it just leads to weight loss and nutrients deficiency lol

  4. Have yโ€™all gotten into some Pumfu yet? I recommend the chorizo seasoned one. I like to add more spices like chili powder, coriander and white pepper and smoky paprika to it, but itโ€™s good still as it is. I like mine sort of cubed instead of crumbled and my favorite is on tacos. Just fry it up in a bit of oil to make it somewhat crispy like you would a steak. Itโ€™s rather difficult to burn it from my experience, and hopefully youโ€™ll learn the right level of cook you prefer on it. Itโ€™s NOT tofu. Totally different. Itโ€™s made from pumpkin seeds. Itโ€™s a game changer. If you have a toaster oven, you can cook it in that too but I still recommend a bit of oil coated on them. Experiment and make sure you cook it. Itโ€™s not the same uncooked or undercooked. Itโ€™s loaded with protein and iron. My favorite is putting it on corn tortillas to make tacos and I usually only add raw onion, cilantro and a squeeze of lime AND some type of hot sauce/salsa. I like a brand called Siete. Their green cremosa and their habanero sauces are spicy, vegan and delicious. I can eat this pumfu stuff daily. Itโ€™s good in soups, rice dishes, as a snack, in stir fried dishes, Pumfu burgers, Indian dishes, etc.. It can be difficult to find sometimes. If you do, I hope you try it and like it. If you donโ€™t, you might need to cook it longer. Just experiment with it and see what you think. Game changer. Oh, and breakfast tacos with some pan fried potatoes, pumfu, hot sauce and a bit of smashed, salted avocado is a great way to start the day. Donโ€™t think about it as a meat substitute. I donโ€™t think they are trying to be something they arenโ€™t. Think about it as a whole other thing. Yโ€™all let me know if you try it and enjoy it or need so tips.

    1. That’s the thing, everyone is different. The only protein I enjoy eating are eggs.

    2. Yeah, those things are always deeply personal, what Works for me, might not work for you

    1. He tried a few different diets he said, now he one of the ones who don’t eat red meat. But eat fish. That’s what I’m doing now it’s the most healthy meat you can get. No gross stuff goes into the fish I eat.

  5. First off everything is balance baby so being totally vegan again is a hell no for me but I do love them vegetables

  6. That isnโ€™t really how that works ๐Ÿ˜‚ but Iโ€™m glad heโ€™s feeling good.

  7. The hate surrounding vegans is ridiculous. If someone wants to change their diet thatโ€™s on them.
