  1. I’m so happy to see a new one!
You look so cute with your hair up.You go girl!

    1. I’d love her more if she sang in these videos. She has the voice of Ella Langley.

  2. I’ve been making pesto for years. You can make it all throughout the summer and freeze it in ice cube trays to enjoy all year long. Also, I add lemon zest if I really want a lemony pesto.
There are several kinds of basil you can grow to make pesto. Variegated basil, purple basil, and green basil all work well. No matter what kind of basil you grow, I would suggest growing at least 2 plants to get enough basil to make pesto throughout the summer! I have never found a pesto in the stores to compare with what you can make at home!

    1. I can’t afford pine nuts, I use pumpkin seeds. They work great and I always have them in the house.

  3. I love a good alfredo sauce. Never found one in a jar that I cared for.

    1. I’m more of a purist and prefer to skip the cream, and definiteΓ±y agree about jarred sauce always having an off taste/being disagreeable. It just tastes diluted.
I might consider adding crram, but a lot less than in the recipe.

    2. @jwall6006they are seriously so easy I use when I got on Instagram it’s literally a stick of butter and I think one and a half cups of heavy cream and one and a half cups of shredded parmesan. It comes out perfect every single time. I could be incorrect on the measurements it could be one and three quarters cup.

  4. When I see you taste the finished dish and give it the chefs kiss and say, woo… That reminds me of my mama…she would taste it and if it was to her liking she would say, “Honey hush!!” 😊

  5. my secret for mac and cheese is Laury’s seasonal salt. It tastes like Kraft mac and cheese. I love your videos.

  6. Why o why do I always watch these when I’m hungry?!?! I can’t wait to try the Pesto recipe…. Thank you!

  7. I’m currently here eating a dry bologna sandwich and a glass of water, and that tastes like I’m broke πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

  8. Got to try that Mac and Cheese. I make mine with cream cheese and white cheddar for my Mac and Cheese.

  9. So appreciative, Nicole, that y’all have been bringing us so many recipes to help out with our grocery bill. I’ve been doing a lot more batch cooking and freezing meals since prices have doubled on so many things. I’ve never seen a bolognese recipe with mirepoix — have only ever done onion and garlic — but it adds so much nutrition and flavor to simple pasta. I’m pinning this one to my fridge for next week. Thanks to you and your team for all your hard work. 😘
