ive heard the term plenty of times i know of them and have tried the sauce and im like close to half the word away. that isnt to say ill think of NY any time i hear the word wings tho.

These were served in my grandma’s house before I was born, since the fifties, my dad made them with oyster sauce. A lot of dishes were made in the home then made there way to restaurants.
Yepp tons of restaurants are like that unless the cook and restaurants have very little items left during the last hour or minutes of closing time. Then an item like Nachos, Cesar Salad is created on the fly.
