*love how us asians have taken over the comment section complaining about how she’s making the rice… but i mean here we are watching a how-to-cook-rice video.. lmao*
@Arun Dhar you sound delusional as f
we are just here to bully people who can’t cook their rice
I’m here to judge.
@Arun Dhar Dude, I totally get your point and I agree with you. I don’t understand why the other people don’t
Nah. We’re just here to check is she cooked rice right.
America: rice is a side dish
Asia: rice is the whole damn meal
uhhh I’m Asia and I can prove that that is correct
Really
That’s exactly the kind of stereotypical, uninformed horseshit you would expect from a weeb with a anime profile pic.
America: Macaroni and cheese is a side dish
Everybody else: iT’s aN EnTIrE MeAl!
@IcognitoDude31 Great for diet or great for increasing your risk of getting type-2 diabetes?
@𝕲𝖗𝖎𝖒𝖒 Because we’re cultured mf who doesn’t like eating rice as our main course of food? Cry about it
“Just let it be. Trust the timing and it’ll come out perfectly”
My rice: burns
I feel you bud…
I suspect it’s because my fire doesn’t have a simmer setting…
@Abhay Ajoodha easy fix. Place a pan on the eye for the flame to hit, and sit the pot of rice on top of the pan. This helps distribute the heat evenly and lessens the heat hitting the rice 👍🏼
@Norfolk N Whey wicked! Thanks man! I give it a shot the next time I’m cooking outside! Appreciate it tons!
Some tips so the rice won’t burn is to steam the pot of rice. place the pot on larger pan and then add some water on the pan, bring it to boil after that simmer it. Don’t open the lid. I guarantee the rice will not burnt before the pan got burnt
Some of these comments are absolutely ridiculous, but I personally struggled to make rice because someone else always did my cooking, so now that I’m forced to learn how to feed myself, this video was very helpful, I followed your instructions to the letter and my rice actually came out perfect. Thanks for taking the time to post this video.
@vyksi öyh if u wanna go back to just cooking in the pot than that is fine but i much rather prefer my rice cooker thst cooks perfect rice for me atleast
@vyksi öyh i mean i got a good one that will stay with me for long
I got used to using the rice cooker so I lost my touch. This video was really helpful indeed.
@Johnny Espino Nope, we Asian people don’t watch video to learn how to cook rice. We learn from our parent.
It’s Good To See People Show Appreciation It’s Genuinely Rare Nowadays🖤
I cooked my rice for the first time today and it came out perfect. Thanks for this very helpful video
Thank you so much!! I did it exactly like you instructed and it came out delicious I could’ve ate it by itself.
I’m moving out by myself and finally need to learn how to cook so that I don’t starve. For whatever reason, cooking has always been so daunting to me (I do it, just rarely) so I thought I’d look for an easy cookbook for beginners. I came across this and in less than five minutes already feel so much more confident. And, I feel like I know everything there is to know about cooking rice. Thank you so much! I subscribed and can’t wait to follow these once I’m in my new kitchen!
Hope it’s working out cooking gets easier the more you do it
If you buy a rice cooker you just fill the water to the line and youre good to go.
I totally get that every culture has different ways of making the same foods and that’s great, But I’m Costa Rican (we eat rice every single day, multiple times a day, and love it) and when I went to Canada I didn’t understand why people didn’t like rice… until I saw them making it like this. 🤦♀️🤷♀️ then it all made sense!!
@Randy hello peter
@Phillip Green thank youuu
@Jennifer Dueck Salas isn’t that dish called Gallo something… tbh I forgot I’m sorry🥺
@Jennifer Dueck Salas Adding coriander to a dish, once it’s nearly done, is the correct way to do it.
I`m Malagasy and we cook rice 2 to 3 time a day, and I agree with you
This was beyond helpful. Thanks so much. For the first time, my Rice actually came out great.
I love how almost everyone in the comments are flexing how good they cook rice like they all didn’t look up or just watch a video on how to cook rice
