  1. Watching Claire on different channels with different lightnings and cameras and filters is fun for me. Here Vice should ease on the filter. Neither Claire nor the food needs to be this blurred.

  2. My #2 favorite dessert behind sticky toffee pudding. I’d LOVE to see Claire’s version of sticky toffee pudding

    1. OMG I was thinking exactly this throughout the entire vid, too! Sticky toffee pudding is my all time fave dessert as well, with blondies right behind. Now I’m having such a craving for some 🥺 Have you ever tried snickerdoodle cookies? If you love the flavor profiles of the two other desserts I think you’d love the cookies, too!

    2. @Mey I sure have, being an American, they’re prevalent here. But yes they are delicious. Stay well.

    3. @Apathy Miller you too. Hope the holiday season is as sweet as the desserts we love. xx

    4. @The Cheshire if you ever want to watch a recipe of it to follow, or just to tempt yourself with, check out the one from the BBC Two on youtube! It’s called Nigella: At My Table. You won’t regret it 🤗

  3. Tough times but I want to get one of her books, which should I get? This one or dessert person?

    1. this is the first im seeing of her after after what happened with Bon Apetite! glad to see her again in any space!

  4. it’s a shame the music was so quiet, i almost heard a bit of what she had to say

  5. @CSaffitz Cuídate. Te estas volviendo gordo ahora. Aunque tu comida se ve genial.

Se feliz sin importar lo que diga la gente

  6. I’m really glad that Claire had left the pretentious crowd at Bon Appétit and is doing her own thing now! Went to my favorite donuts place in Brooklyn (Fan-Fan Doughnuts) after a looong time and they had a copy of her book Dessert Person laying around… apparently, these guys are taking sweet stuff seriously as well!

    1. @1228Dregen Would not be surprised… but there seemed to be weird stuff going on in mind-2020, with some staying on and some leaving Condé Nast. Some of the ones staying suddenly posted the most absurd “mea culpas” (like Brad on IG) about basically nothing but with lots of zeitgeist-y virtue-signalling… and since then, the old vibe of curiosity, experimentation, madness and general “joie de vivre” has been replaced with a bunch of self-important “actors” who are displaying hardly any true enthusiasm for what they are doing… Claire on the other hand has her own YT channel and appears even more authentic and relevant than ever before.
