I'm afraid you didn't request this. But, it ends up that you can in reality prepare Christmas supper in a pile of sh * t.
Back in 2017 we sent out leading chef Tom Griffiths down to Kew Gardens, home to the largest non-commercial compost pile in Western Europe, to do simply that.
That compost is comprised of lots of stable manure, including bacteria which assists to break down the plant product, producing temperature levels inside the compost heaps of around 80 ° C. That's technically hot adequate to slow cook beef and other edible bits and bobs. Picture it sort of like steaming, or sous vide cooking, however instead of water carefully warming the foods it's horse shit.
To put this theory to the test we vac-packed all the components of a Christmas dinner, left them in the compost heap for a bit and came back later on to inspect the outcomes. Wonderful things.

“It’s the best piece of steak I’ve ever had” – I feel sorry for this man. Deals with all kinds of crap on a daily basis and can’t even treat himself to a proper seared & basted steak
I’m sure that man cares about your sympathy.
Well, his turds did it for him
