Bajra Khichdi is a conventional dish from India that is made with pearl millet (bajra), lentils, and numerous spices. It is a healthy and healthy dish that is often worked as a main course.
BAJRE KI KHICHDI
Components
1 1/2 cups millet (bajra), soaked over night
1/2 cup split skinless green gram (dhuli moong dal), soaked
2 tbsps ghee
1 1/2 tsps cumin seeds
2-3 green chillies, chopped
7-8 curry leaves
1/4 tsp asafoetida
1 large onion, chopped
1 large potato, cut into little cubes
1 little carrot, peeled and cut into small cubes
4-5 French beans, sliced
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsps red chilli powder
Salt to taste
1/4 cup green peas
2 tbsps newly chopped coriander leaves
Approach
1. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker, add cumin seeds and let the seeds alter colour. Include green chillies, curry leaves, asafoetida and sauté for 30 seconds.
2. Add onion and sauté till translucent. Add potato, carrot, sauté well and prepare for 2-3 minutes. Include French beans and sauté well for 1 minute.
3. Include turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix well. Include bajra, moong dal, green peas, chopped coriander and blend well.
4. Include 8 cups of water and mix well. Cover and cook till 5-6 whistles are released.

कपूर साहिब ! मैने भी 5,6 यहां तक कि 8 सीटी लगवा कर बाजरा किछड़ी बनाई ..पर बाजरा कड़ा रह गया,सॉफ्ट नहीं हुया… आप कोइ specific बाजरा use करते हो तो बता दीजिएगा… हम तो परेशान हो गए जनाब 7,8 सिटी कुक्कर पूरा ठंडा होने पर खोलना ..फिर भी बाजरा उतना सॉफ्ट नहीं खाने लायक..कृपया कोई समाधान कीजिये !
