Everybody believes they know how to begin a charcoal grill, however many don't do it properly. We have actually all seen it– someone will tower above the grill repeatedly splashing the charcoals and flame with lighter fluid, hoping the flame will grows and larger to no avail. Our resident grill expert J. Pereira is here to reveal us that in fact, you do not even require any lighter fluid at all. See and gain from a yard barbeque master.

How To Light a Grill the Right Way
didn’t know lighting a grill could be so entertaining, gosh my life really sucks.
Shaz nah itβs been enhanced
@Ivan Stankov its been almost a couple years since lol, how’s life going ?
@Shaz its been a year. Its getting better but still hella lot of work and things to archieve. Thanks for asking lol. See you in 6 months
Hope it gets better for your guys. It’s 1:30am here, and I’m lighting a bit tomorrow
+1
This is exactly what I need for our up coming weekend BBQ. Thanks a lot.

Thats just pure non sense
Faxxx
We have tried 3 times (once successfully, twice not really) to start our new charcoal grill. I watched 10 different videos and this was the best one. Well-made, no fuss, no extra tools. Thanks Munchies.
Take your grill back. The world is telling you not to grill
Buy a chimney, light with paper towel, paper napkins with a little bit of canola oil (or any oil)
lmao who the hell fails at lighting a grill… it’s not rocket science. Did you hold a lighter to trying to light one piece of charcoal? LOL
Dude! It SO worked. This is my method from on. Thank you so much.
Thanks for this. I pride myself on doing everything a man can do. This was a daunting and stressful thing for me to attempt. Now Iβm not so worried. β€οΈπ
βPlease use tongs or something….a gloved hand. Donβt grab these things. I see some people do some dumb π©β
I *REALLY* like this guy ππππ
Love this guy. Should do a whole grilling series
Iβm definitely going to do this on my next grill because I always use lighter fluid and have little patience to wait. After seeing this he made it look easy.
Dont know the science behind it but it works………..sounds damn reasonable to me
Lol imma go out on the limb and say oxygen and fire plays a part.
That is exactly why I trust him π
that’s how i feel about the covid vaccine lmfao
Science enough for me
I dont live near this guy so how am I going to get some sheets of his local paper?

That crappy paperback 80βs sci-fi novel you have laying around?

@eben ho π€£
He looks like a nice guyβ¦Iβm sure heβll overnight some of them local papers to you and maybe a can of beer if your luckyπ
Excellent; Iβm thinking to buy one like this but I wasnβt sure how it works- I have a poker day next week with 10 players. Iβm cooking and sure after watching your useful clip, grilling too ! Thanks
I always use the fire starting charcoal grill thingy. But just like you, I use the tongs to move the charcoal around to build my fire. I find it relaxing to watch the charcoal build. After I start cooking corn tortillas and make them into chips. I find myself looking into the fridge to find stuff to grill, lol.
So happy I found this! Watched a few before and was bored and confused! You kept it fun and simple. Gracias!
Thanks! Much to my surprise I got the grill started with just paper and some twigs. After 30 minutes now, all the coals are burning/glowing just beautifully, and I’m about to put the meat on the grid. π
Man thank you so much for this. Seems simple enough, but man your instruction was so helpful for a beginner like myself.
Just lit my grill the correct way for the first time thanks to you, no more lighter fluid for me!
Thank you I struggled yesterday with lighter fluid. Can’t wait to use your method
