@done ? They´re like 4 or 5€ a piece, here at least. Sure, you´re not gonna use them regularly but if you want to make dessert for a special occasion or something… Not to mention if you bought more than one at a time
Until it’s dry and no longer limp/soft. Then, when it has infused and got dry, remove it from the sugar and mix it to get vanilla powder. Excellent in cakes, pancake dough etc… I use a little Bosch electric coffee grinder for that, perfect result 👌🏻
I insist on the need to wait for vanilla pods to be really dry, otherwise it will stick to the blades, and probably rot after..

Great sprinkle on cakes, biscuits, porridge, carrot cake, milkshake, s’mores, cheesecake, ice cream, apple pie, fudge, brownies. the possibilities are endless.

@done where are you buying them for $60 for two 💀
@Chapati from Costco they come in a container with two pods is this not how much vanilla cost because I’ve been buying it from them for years
@done in the uk they’re like £6 for a pack of two in most shops
I thought it was $10 for two
First
No one cares, and you’re third
i infuse them with vodka for homemade vanilla extract. Its even a great gift:)
Fake vanilla extract is too expensive! You think I’ve got pods?!?! Lol
“fake” Vanilla is literally pure vanillin. There’s almost no difference between the two
How long does it need to infuse for
At least two or three weeks

Can’t have leftover pods if you can’t afford them.
