  3. My mum used to make it often and used cucumber in a lot of things. My mum and I grow in our garden so when there is plenty we make Thapla, pakoras, stair fry with other veg. Add curry, pickled, Rita. Paratha, so many things.

  8. We make different dishes with cucumber i.e. तवस in kokani language. We make तवसाचे वडे, तवसाचं धोंडस (cucumber cake), तवसाचे भाकरी.

  10. It’s called doddak. & no sugar. Apply salt, ltl jaggery, green chilli & rest, add rawa after it releases water

  11. We Konkanis call this “Tovshe Doddak’ we add jaggery instead sugar, same method we can use for Watermelon white part, Mangalore cucumber, pumpkin doddak…
