Do not you love it when you make your preferred Pizza right from the dough, then the sauce, all for much lower than what you would have shelled out at a pizzeria or café? Try this dish to make a restaurant-style pizza.

VEG PIZZA

Components

Dough
2 cups improved flour (maida) + for cleaning
1 tsp salt
2 tsps dried yeast
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsps oil + for greasing
Sauce
4 medium tomatoes
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp sliced garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder to taste
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
1 1/2 tbsps tomato catsup
5-6 fresh basil leaves + for garnish
Topping
100 grams grated mixed cheese
Onion rings as needed
Tomato slices as needed
Boiled corn kernels to sprinkle
Chopped green capsicum as needed
100 grams home cheese, cut into small pieces
Salt to taste
Red chilli flakes to sprinkle

Technique

1. Take fine-tuned flour in a bowl. Add salt and blend well.
2. Take dried yeast in a bowl. Add sugar, 2 tablespoons warm water and reserve for 5 minutes.
3. Add yeast mixture to the refined flour, 1 tbsp oil, 1 cup water and knead to soft dough. Add remaining oil and knead once again.
4. Cover with a damp muslin fabric and set aside for 40-45 minutes.
5. For sauce, roughly chop the tomatoes and transfer in a mill jar and grind to coarse paste.
6. Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Include garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
7. Add onion and sauté till translucent. Include tomato puree, salt, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, red chilli flakes and blend well.
8. As soon as the mix pertains to a boil, cover and cook on medium heat for 8-10 minutes.
9. Include tomato ketchup and cook for 1-2 minutes.
10. Tear basil leaves roughly and contribute to the pan. Take the pan off the heat and permit to cool.
11. Knock back the dough and knead once again, Divide the dough into 2 equal portions, dust some refined flour on the surface area and roll into thin disks. Prick 1 roundel with the aid of fork.
12. Heat a nonstick tawa. Place the rolled disk and cook on medium heat for 5-6 minutes.
13. Flip and spread pizza sauce on the top and spray half the cheese on top.
14. Set up onion rings, tomato pieces on top. Sprinkle corn kernels and set up capsicum and cottage cheese pieces on top.
15. Sprinkle salt and red chilli flakes on top.
16. Cover and cook on low heat for 8-10 minutes.
17. Pre-heat the oven to 200ºC.
18. Transfer the other disk on a baking tray and likewise make other pizza.
19. Bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes.
20. Cut the pizzas into wedges, garnish with basil leaves and serve.
