Wow, I mean it probably somehow works but I hardly believe you got much the out of that one time filtering lol.
To make anything decent with pot, the longer you let it simmer the better. For example I got my recipe from coffeeshops in the Netherlands and they pretty much all let it simmer in butter for about 4-6 hours. You can do more but that’s not really worth it.
