  1. Nice, I use about 1/4 green pepper, 1/2 onion, 2 cloves whole garlic, couple sprigs of cilantro, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin salt & pepper. Yes, it’s kinda basic but delicious and goes with just about everything. If you want refried beans blend everything put in pan use 1/2 cup of fat I use duck or pork salt to taste. I prefer black beans as they are definitely easier on my stomach. Don’t know why but they are.

  4. Wow 😀!!!! excelente 👍🏻👍🏻 chili 👏👏 delicioso muchas gracias por la receta perfecto 👌🏻👌🏻

    1. I actually went ahead and tried it in the stovetop Pressure Cooker. I did 30 minutes on high pressure and it worked great. The only extra thing I did was simmer it for an extra 5-10 minutes to cook down the liquid.

Excellent will make again for sure!

Unless of course it becomes the camp fire scene from Blazing Saddle’s 😊

  5. Thanks for sharing . Your delicious pinto bean recipe . Some fried potatoes and hot water cornbread . Yum yum perfect meal . Have a great weekend .

  6. I have a old school pressure cooker. I will make this recipe. Looks really good.😁🇦🇺

  7. As a stereotypical South Texan, I go through a large pot of pinto beans weekly. That second recipe is pretty much my go to but, I use chorizo instead of bacon and, I add in a sprig of epazote.

    1. I never heard of chorizo until yesterday when I saw a small package of it at the market. I don’t eat bacon so thank you for the tip. I’ll try it too.

    2. @Johnathan Banks
Brown the chorizo and put it in (and the drippings) maybe twenty minutes before the beans are done if cooking stove top. You can add the browned chorizo at the start in an Instapot. 👍

      Lotta flavor.

  8. Boy this is just what I needed, to upgrade my beans! You always seem to get the jump on what I need😊😊😊😊 o

  9. Can you do a recipe for chipotle black beans? I cannot seem to get the flavors right.

  10. Out of all the air recipes that appear you are the best of all of them the best of the best I love watching all your videos and I learned a lot thanks again God bless keep up the good work

  11. I’ve always done 60 minutes, because when I use the bean/Chile button, some of them remain on the crunchy side(I’m assuming the button is for people who presoak). I guess I like my beans on the softer side 🤷. Great uses for pintos though, thanks for sharing. New Mexican red chilie and pinto beans to make Frito pies 👍 thank me later lol

  12. That reminds me of frijoles charros. Thank you for letting people know about adding the salt at the end, it’s very important. Honestly that’s too much seasoning just for beans for my taste since beans are so flavorful on their own, but if I’m serving it as a an American chili it’ll work.
