    1. most likely for pani puri or dahi puri. there’s a lot of variations for both of those dishes

  3. This is where #Munchies excels at what it does best. Introducing a family that works together for the common good with respect for each members individuality — the complete opposite of what I grew up in. Thanks to the Patel family for sharing their story and continued happiness and success (not just in business, but in life).

  4. The ability to say “no” part got me. We’re so privileged as first generation Indian Americans. Praise to our parents for paving the way – thanks munchies for sharing

  5. This is one of my favorite episodes. The family dynamic is so authentic!

  6. There aren’t a lot of Gujarati restaurants in the US let alone women owned, so it’s really cool to see it happen. I’m Gujarati American and feeling super inspired by this family. Wishing them all the best and planning to go their restaurant when I go to SF.

  7. I can’t believe nobody has commented on how absolutely gorgeous Heema is!! She’s just gotten more attractive over time, and this video shows that she’s just as beautiful on the inside. What an amazing woman and family, I wish them the best life has to offer and much more success for many years to come!! I wish I wasn’t so far away from San Diego, I’d love to be able to eat at their restaurant!! Maybe one day lol 🤷🏼‍♀️🤞🏻

  8. I love the empowerment to stand in authenticity. No need to translate, it is what it is, enjoy it!

  9. I am not crying 😢 this is so beautiful 😍 bravo to this family and these parents. Immigrants get things done.

  10. I always want to be able to walk into a restaurant and say “give me the full experience” I want to learn, and having someone so passionate about their food really does remove barriers.
