  3. This was a marvelous trip and a great video to see how people live long and their food they eat. I liked the Japan video when you asked people there, as well for longevity. I like these venture out videos of food and cooking and how the other parts of the world eat. Your successful and enlighten us to cook and eat right. Just like you incorporated into the school system or good nutrition. Food is medicine in my theory. Music is my sanctuary. Thank You for taking time to travel and show us your life cooking.

As a Costa Rican, I’m proud and happy that Jamie fell in love with our country—especially Guanacaste—since the last time he visited. This is the kind of content and person that truly highlights the country’s potential, not shallow, superficial influencers chasing cheap and fleeting fame, while failing to showcase the true beauty of Costa Rica.

  8. As a costarrican that moved back home to guanacaste in 2020 I can say that is crazy how much healthier and more peaceful I am, just living in a small town surrounded by nature, friends and family, and eating homemade food all the time makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE – also the availability of fruits is off the charts so people is always gifting each other fruits from their garden 🏡🌳🌴

  10. I live in the Central Pacific of Costa Rica.
When I lived in the states I had severe arthritis. I walked with a walker. When I moved here 15 years ago, it took maybe 3 months and all my pain went away. I turn 80 years old this month and plan on living to 100.
We have fresh vegetables and fruit all year long. We drink coconut water from the trees in our yard.
But I know the people on the Nicoya want to take credit, but we eat black bean soup here in Bejuco also.
The casado is a dish made up of “everything in the kitchen.” Your choice of meat, chicken, fish, etc, rice, a vegetable, plantains, beans. Whatever is available in the kitchen that day and is usually the cheapest thing you can get.
It wasn’t mentioned, but the salt air is bound to be healthy also. Salt heals
    Great video.

  11. Thank you for highlighting the best country on the planet!!! Pura Vida from our hearts to every other heart in the world.

  13.
