A Maharashtrian design thin buttermilk with popular flavour of ginger, and green chillies. Easy to make masala buttermilk recipe at home. Finest dish to be had during summer seasons.

MATTHA

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups yogurt
1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
Black salt to taste
1 tsp powdered sugar
1 inch ginger, grated
2 green chillies, crushed
2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
8-10 ice cubes

Approach

1. Put yogurt in a jar. Add roasted cumin powder, black salt and powdered sugar and blend well with the aid of a wood churner.
2. Include 3 1/2 cups chilled water and blend well. Squeeze the juice of grated ginger through a strainer.
3. Include green chillies, and coriander leaves and mix well. Include ice and mix till well combined.
4. Pour the mattha into specific serving glasses. Serve right away.
