Martha really came for me without even knowing it. I had to go out and purchase fresh baking soda and baking powder this morning. Because I made a batch of cookies and they did not spread like they usually do. And I didn’t realize that my baking soda and bacon powder had expired.
I love Irish Soda bread. I will try this recipe. Thanks
Definitely will make it, Thank You 🙏🇨🇦
Nobody in Ireland would dream of putting CARAWAY SEEDS in flipping SODA BREAD!
😂 Fact!
Even raisins… Does she think she’s making barmbrack?
😋
🍞🍞♥️♥️
Noooo caraway seeds for me lol I don’t like them in sausage or doughs 😅
I make this bread on a regular basis and I would never consider using two and a half spoons of salt. I wouldn’t use that much salt in a month. Very often I omit the salt. Whether it is Kosher, Sea or Himalayan it is still salt and at the rate you use it it is suicidal. Also why not just use buttermilk?
Beautiful presentation of the preparation method! Congratulations! 😊
