  1. So cool! What a fun watch. Can’t wait to see what grape y’all do next!

  2. I enjoy how open Jonathan is about wine, but I have had that chance to drink Justin out of a red solo cup at a party and I’m not sure if I agree with his assessment. I mostly smelled plastic and it was not an enjoyable experience for me. I think the idea of drink wine however and whenever is great, but… I’d prefer not to use plastic.

  3. I’m looking for a bottle of Vesuvian wine, encased in ash… bottled in clay.

  4. I mean we have 2 MS here yet I would 100x prefer DIRT to do a video about any wine.

  5. Wow what a great episode! I’m a sucker for some wine shopping and food pairings. Although, the best pairing I’ve had with steak ain’t a cab sauv, it was a Moulin-Γ -vent. And I disagree, I think Riesling always wins πŸ˜‰

  6. What happened to the Potensac 2012? I really enjoy their wine and was looking forward to hearing your thoughts, though of course comparing a $38 Bordeaux with a $140 Napa cab might have been a slightly unlevel playing field.

  7. My birthyear Ridge, one of the most legendary 1974s along with Unico ❀️ Great episode

  8. Fun watch. Currently in Napa Valley at the moment. Love Cabernet! All about Friends, family and great vintages!

  9. I shop at Flatiron whenever I am in NYC, specifically to take wine to restaurants with low corkage charges such as Hawksmoor’s $10 corkage Mondays. I would never buy a $40 bottle. What’s the point? Take advantage of cheap corkage to bring a spectacular bottle that would be ridiculous with a restaurant mark-up.

  10. Well done I’m doing what these young people are doing for the past 60 years. Of course I have had all these wines and more, but the one thing that is consistent with them is that passion we all have to experience and explore.

  11. Yeah that muggles joke lands in some circles for sure but sounds so smug

  12. Many good insights…except calling Ridge Montebello a Napa wine is just flatly wrong. Ridge’s Montebello vineyard is located 100 miles south of Napa on Cupertino, Ca. (Santa Cruz Mountains). Yes i live here and been to Ridge many times.
Sort of takes away some of the credibility out of this otherwise fine event.

  13. This was terrific, great eats at iconic NYC establishment and fine wines.

  14. The Keen’s mutton chop is hardly a secret!! Love this episode. Two legendary wine pros.
