  1. stone shocker…. furmint is grown elsewhere!? 2nd stone shocker…. asian what? shiso? green tea? might as well say matcha and sushi pairing. I think they are missing out on a few red grape varietals with their terroir. They could give France and America (Oregon, Washington) a run for their money with a volcanic red.

    1. Volcanic reds are made usually from Kékfrankos (Blaufränkisch) in other volcanic wine regions like Eger, Mátra and the Tihany peninsula located in the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region. Another topic worth discovering😁

  3. Woah, crazy. This video came out five days ago. I had my first glass of Hungarian wine – VESZTERGOMBI CSABA – six nights ago. Probably my favorite red wine so far.

  4. Is not underrated, if you know your wine you know Hungary has very good ones.
