New York’s Ultimate Italian Deli

Meet Emilio and Jospehine Polito, who run a distinctive Italian Deli in Whitestone, Queens. Their 3 children– Tommy, Mario, and Angelo– all operate in the deli too, and will remember your name (the majority of the time), your order, and be the first to tell you that no one's cooking compares with their mother's. Tony's is their home. We just may relocate, too.

  1. The full video about this spot is worth the watch for sure👍👍👍

  2. Love businesses/people like this. Who cares if it is fully authentic, nothing is anymore. Embrace the love they have for the culture and good food.

    1. “Fully Authentic” is a complete gimmick anyways. Cuisine and culture evolve rapidly, and thats how businesses develop a niche to secure themselves in. That’s authentic.

  3. When you goto Tony’s, it’s an entire experience, the quality is always the highest, on a cold day they hand you an espresso, and the holidays at Tony’s.

    1. Unfortunately too expensive for the average Joe to go more than twice a month. People rather go to Aldi and Walmart.

    2. @F-R-D-SYou blaming Tony or the economy with grossly uncompetitive wages?

    3. @AndrewBlacker-t1d sure, whatever floats your boat. Fact is that not many people can go out often enough to sustain a business like this everyday.

  4. There is nothing i would be more proud of, than to be called the wrong name by an italian deli/shop owner
