No barbecue? Just dig a pit. After all, one guy's ground is another guy's oven.
Petra Zavaleta is the chef behind Barbakush, a standard Mexican barbecue street spot in LA. Petra, her other half, and her children collaborate to create their lamb barbacoa, breaking down an entire lamb and building a traditional underground barbecue oven in their backyard.

It’s so pathetically cringe when you see someone wearing a cloth over their face, and they swipe it off just to put food in their hole but quickly throw it back on…. face cloths are dumb and no one with an ounce of intelligence wears them.
Bro this is a short about cooking meat underground and you had to point out the 3 second part
@EIuxi yes because it ruined the “short”
@motometalracer lol ruined it for you ๐ฅด

Its so pathetic and cringe to hear people like you still talking against masks, lmao. You wanna talk about someone without intelligence, take a look in the mirror.

This cooking technique was developed in Pฤru
#Stop culture appropriation by Mexicans
Are you wearing a mask right now typing your virtue signal?
This technique is used around the world.
Erik the clown @motometalracer
Mayans used this method bro, tf you on about
In New Zealand we call this cooking technique a HANGI. The difference is we heat rocks and lay our food in iron baskets. The baskets of food sit on top of the hot rocks then we cover the baskets with cloths then cover the whole pit with dirt. This stays in the ground for 3 hours then it’s ready to eat โค
Sounds like I need to visit New Zealand
The men cook the hangi and the women only help with the food preparation and to help to serve once cooked. The men will cover the steam when it comes out of the dirt, this helps keep the heat in the pit to ensure the food cooks properly.
I still donโt get why people think it makes sense to wear a mask while eating. Especially a non N95 mask ๐.
This techniqur is am ancienz one used by many people all over the world in acient times ๐
I need that eyeball meat
In America we cook on grills. Or smokers. Less work. But I respect it
Cooking in smokers is a newer thing before they would also cook on the ground
