Palak Paneer | पालक पनीर कैसे बनाते है | All Time Favourite Recipe | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

One of the most loved recipes – palak paneer! Generally made with mildly spiced spinach curry and paneer, goes so well with roti or even simply as it is.

PALAK PANEER

Components

2 medium lot of spinach (palak).
400 grams cottage cheese (paneer).
2 green chillies.
1 tablespoon ghee.
1 tsp cumin seeds.
1 tablespoon finely sliced garlic.
1 medium onion, carefully chopped.
Salt to taste.
1/2 tsp garam masala powder.
1/4 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) powder.
2 tbsps fresh cream + for garnish.
Ginger strips for garnish.
Entire wheat paranthe to serve.

Method.

1. Cut the stems of the spinach leaves and wash them thoroughly.
2. Bring sufficient water to a boil in a deep pan. Include the spinach leaves, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Drain pipes into ice cold water.
3. Squeeze the excess water from the blanched spinach leaves and move into a grinder container. Break the green chillies and include into it. Grind to a fine paste.
4. Cut the cottage cheese into 1-inch cubes.
5. Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and let them change colour. Include garlic, mix and cook for 1 minute.
6. Add onion and sauté till clear. Add the ground paste, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Include salt and mix well.
7. Add home cheese, garam masala powder, dried fenugreek leaves powder, fresh cream, and carefully blend till well integrated.
8. Transfer on a serving bowl, garnish with fresh cream, ginger strips, and serve hot with paranthe.
