Water – 5 cups

Ghee – 2 tbl spoon
Pepper – 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
Chopped ginger – 1 tbl spoon
Green chilli – 1
Asafoetida
Cashews
Curry leaves

Moong dal – ¼ cup (50 grams)
Toor dal – ¼ cup (50 grams)
Onion – 1
Tomato – 2
Garlic cloves – 3
Green chilli – 2
Sambar powder – 1 ½ teaspoon
Chilli powder – ½ teaspoon
Coriander powder – ½ teaspoon
Turmeric powder
Brinjal – 250 grams
Tamarind juice of amla size
Salt
Oil – 2 tbl spoon
Mustard – ½ teaspoon
Urad dal – ½ teaspoon
Fenugreek – ¼ teaspoon
Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon
Asafoetida
Chopped shallots – 10
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
