Vegetable Cheese Nuggets | वेजिटेबल चीज़ नगेट्स | Kids Recipes | Easy Snacks | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Vegetable packed nuggets, packed with mozzarella cheese, covered with breadcrumbs and deep fried till golden and crisp.



2 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
2 tablespoons finely chopped French beans
1/4 cup grated carrot
50 grams mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
2 tsps ginger-green chilli paste
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
Oil for greasing + for deep frying
Corn flour-refined flour slurry as required
Dried bread crumbs for finish
Tomato ketchup to serve


1. Take potatoes in a large bowl. Include French beans, carrot, ginger-green chilli paste, salt, chaat masala and bread crumbs and blend well.
2. Grease your palm with some oil, take a part of the potato mixture and spread it on your palm. Place 2 mozzarella cubes in the centre and bring the edges to the centre and seal it. Forming it into a little cylinder. This is a nugget.
3. Dip each nugget into the slurry and coat with dried bread crumbs.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
5. Carefully slide in the nuggets into the hot oil and deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain pipes on an absorbent paper.
6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
