If it’s just “opinions”, then why is she mad? Definitely in denial. Because they’re not opinions, they’re truths.
Y’know who was in denial? Amy. Y’know what happened to her? Gordon couldn’t help her. She wouldn’t hear him. There was some other guy that wouldn’t hear Gordon either, and he changed everything back the moment Gordon left. Both those times, they lost their restaurants, and Amy ended up in jail!

My question would be why is Gordon in your restaurant if your the “Best” in town?
My company sent me to NOLA last year for 30 days, and I had at least 20 bowls of gumbo. I don’t remember this gumbo, but this lady seems familiar. There are so many variations of they are all good. I was concerned with flavor, and I never counted how many shrimp I found. I would maybe ask for more rice. There was this one place in the quarter that tasted like they dredged the ponchitran but that was just for the tourists.
Ew. And they’re serving it in styrofoam ☠️🤮 toxic poison soup not gumbo. ❌💯

I hate having to wait till Wednesday to watch these. I wish you were doing a full season in NOLA. This has been the most my husband (who’s nola born and raised) has been entertained by tv in a while. It’s a shame the bulk of these places are so new.
I know a Cajun restaurant in my town that has a better Gumbo; and they shut down months ago. 😅
People with these restaurants have huge egos and think they’re great but their business is crap. They think the customers are the issue. Amazing.
Their ENTIRE life is the restaurant. It costs millions of dollars to open a restaurant, and that’s usually a huge gamble for first-time owners. They have an ego because every decision made effects the money in their pocket and the food they can put on their kids tables.
