Insane take
The internet is amazing for letting racists out themselves publicly.
Wait, who the hell said Chinese food was bad? Random factoid, the Chinese Exclusionary Act allowed only a few visa exemptions. One such exemption restaurants, which is why so many Chinese immigrants opened restaurants.
Well, i know alot of chinese ppl think chinese American food is “bad”. Bad meaning non traditional. Now, is he referring to that or the fact that its not good for you? Need the full video i suppose. Think about it, chinese American food is basically a bastardization of traditional chinese food. Still tasty af, though
People that think panda express is authentic
I mean my great grandfather came from a family we’re men were expected to know how to cook, I don’t know if it’s a Cantonese thing or not. He became a chef in France, left France for the US and later Northern Mexico just south of Texas. But in general women were allowed to come in some point in the US, I think before the Chinese exclusion act, but I know some men must’ve known how to cook, they could’ve been a street vendor in their village before coming to the US
Munchies you missed so much of the importance of what he says from the main video in this short.
Literally never heard this ‘theory’ from anyone, ever.
its just fried noddles
These comments wild. We just love Chinese American food here bruh
It’s all horrible for you
Nope, this comment is just plain and simple incorrect. Even N American Chinese food consists of much more than chicken balls and chow mein which most may think. It might be all that’s available in rural Kansas or whatever, but there are plenty of healthy dishes in American Chinese cuisine! Anybody acquainted with the deliciousness of this cuisine, for instance, will likely order a steamed bitter green like Gai Lan, which is a magical digestive aid. Even chow mein at its core is simple and not overly sauced, replace the friend noodles with handmade broad noodles as are in Chow Fun (the real deal) and side greens and you have a finely balanced meal
You are confused .. the chowmein that they did was just vegetables and meat no flying noodles and they came with crispy noodles . Chow mein is from HONG KONG no American
All foreign cuisines are changed to the palate of the country they are making it for.
Every Chinese restaurant I have tried does not put noodles in chow mein.
Share some more context cause wtf are you even talking about?
