I love Jamaican patties, I’ve only had somewhat authentic ones a few times, on JBLM. I’ve bought the frozen kind for the microwave and sadly they don’t do it justice 😢

Same thing, it’s what you would describe as a pasty but everyone in the UK and Jamaica call them ‘Jamaican Patty’. They are very common here in the UK.
