How to make Protein Cheela | प्रोटीन चीला | Healthy Breakfast Recipe | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

This high-protein twist on a classic Indian meal is packed with wholesome components and strong flavours. Whether you are beginning your day, powering through a busy afternoon, or refuelling after an exercise, this cheela provides the perfect balance of nutrition and deliciousness.

PROTEIN CHEELA.

Ingredients.

1 cup chickpea/ gram flour (besan).
1 medium carrot, grated.
1/3 cup sweet corn kernels, boiled and coarsely crushed.
50 grams paneer, grated.
2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves.
2-3 green chillies, sliced.
Salt to taste.
Crushed black peppercorns to taste.
1 tbsp roasted white sesame seeds.
100 grams yogurt.
Oil for sprinkling.

Method.

1. Take the chickpea flour in a large bowl, add carrot, sweet corn, paneer, coriander leaves, green chillies, salt, crushed black peppercorns, white sesame seeds and yogurt and blend well. Add 3/4 cup water gradually, blending till a lump free batter is formed.
2. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat. Sprinkle a little oil and pour a ladleful of the batter and spread it gently. Cook on medium heat for 1-2 minutes, sprinkle a little oil and continue to cook for 1-2 minutes more. Flip the cheela and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes or till golden brown.
