  6. The very first dinner party I gave in my. very first apartment was beef bourguignon; Julia Child’s recipe. This brings back so many memories. I used Gallo Hearty Burgundy wine, but that “stew” was spectacularly delicious.

  7. Oh my goodness that looks delicious. I need to cook this on Sunday. Thank you Nicole.

  8. I always cook with winw — cooking wine, that is. Once you’ve boiled the wine I don’t think you can tell the difference. Save the good stuff for the table.

    1. Cooking wine is absolutely garbage and is full of salt. Try cooking with real wine. It’s 1000% better

  9. FYI, several years ago I made Julia Child’s Beef Bourguignon and was sorely disappointed because the flavor just wasn’t there especially considering I spent 2+ days making it. Thank goodness a year or so after that, I made someone else’s BB recipe and it was excellent. I can’t wait to try Nicole’s recipe.

  10. Need to make this. Do you put it in the oven covered or in a open dish please?
