Chicken Tikka Soup | चिकन टिक्का सूप | Indian Style Chicken Soup | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

A blend dish that is sure to impress you, and the ones you make this for. The precious chicken tikka in a smooth, tomato based, Indian spiced soup, which is calming, reassuring and really gratifying!



300 grams ready-made chicken tikka
6 medium tomatoes, approximately sliced
3 tablespoons oil
6-8 black peppercorns
1 bay leaf
6-7 garlic cloves
1 medium onion, approximately sliced
5-6 coriander stems
Salt to taste
1 tsp red chilli powder
5 cups veggie stock
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp butter
1 tbsp fresh cream + for drizzling
Micro greens for garnish
Crisp naan triangles for garnish


1. Heat oil in a deep pan. Add black peppercorns, bay leaf, garlic cloves, onion and tomatoes and blend well.
2. Include the coriander stems and salt and mix. for 3-4 minutes.
3. Include red chilli powder and blend well. Put veggie stock, mix, cover and for 6-8 minutes.
4. Switch the heat off, dispose of the bay leaf and mix the mixture till smooth utilizing an electric hand mixer.
5. Strain the mix into another pan. Switch the heat on, sugarcoat and mix well. Prepare for 1-2 minutes.
6. Include butter and fresh cream and blend well. Cook for 1-2 minutes and take the pan off the heat.
7. Very finely the chicken tikka pieces.
8. Reserve a few of the chicken tikka pieces and transfer a portion of the staying into specific serving bowls. Put a portion of the soup into each bowl.
9. Drizzle fresh cream, garnish with the reserve chicken tikka pieces and micro greens. Serve hot with crisp naan.
