  1. I don’t think we have ginger in syrup in Spain. With what I can replace it?

    1. Ground ginger or grated fresh ginger will do just fine. Maybe add some extra sugar

  2. I wish I had a magic wooden chopping board like yours , cleanly wiped down every time I returned to it! 😂 Looking forward to trying these. I love stem ginger, and was unaware you could buy it in a jar, would you have a recipe for ginger cookies, gluten free, or not?

  3. I love carrot cake! These look great. The top view camera’s colour is seriously out.

  4. Couldn’t the Americans find a better name for something so delicious! This is the best way to eat carrots. What a neat idea! Thanks

    1. @@marksieving7925 That’s a MUCH better name! I think there’s also a Chinese festival confectionery called something very similar (very beautiful and very well presented as they are given as gifts) – I’ll check…

They’re called mooncakes and are given as gifts to family & friends as part of the mid-Autumn festival. I’d love to try my hand at making a batch, but a special mould is needed so I’ll have to check my local Chinese market to see if they sell them (there are a few easy recipes on YT).

  5. We can’t get that ginger in the supermarkets here in Australia. Ginger in syrup reminds me of growing up in Essex at Christmas time❤️

    1. Surprised Buderim Ginger dont make it. But there are others that sell it in Australia.

  6. Hi Jamie – you will always be the GOAT imo. Ignore those called ‘comedians’ that are neither clever nor funny.

    1. idc what comedians say, I care what chefs and cooks say. I’m a cook and he definitely F*cks up asian food 🙂

  7. Ginger r oot is really really pungent and medicinal, interesting how it can change and be so sweet like in this video. I want to learn how to make it into a sweet treat. Looks yummy nummy. Dip the veggies in some rich ranch, that helps little kids take their veggies. Mmmmmmm~ I want! Buttercream whoopie pies! Show us how to “ripple” our deserts, sir.

  8. Us New ENGLANDERS LOVE OUR WOOPIE PIES!!! And I definitely vote for the carrot cake vibe!

  9. I LOVE the way you cook. The only thing is there is proof that air fryer and non stick pans are TOXIC!

  10. Made yesterday and… OMG that was more than just delicious, it tastes heavenly ❤😉 thanks for the recipe!
