BAFAT FISH FRY.

Ingredients.

4 sole fish.
2 tbsps ginger-garlic-green chilli paste.
1/2 tsp turmeric powder.
1 tsp red chilli powder.
Salt to taste.
1 1/2 tablespoons bafat masala.
1 tbsp lemon juice.
2 tsps vinegar.
1/4 cup semolina (sooji).
1/2 cup rice flour.
Oil for shallow fry.
Onion rings for serving.
Lemon wedges for serving.

Technique.

1. Remove the skin, get rid of eyes, clean gut and wash the fish well. Give slits on the surface.
2. Take ginger-garlic-green chilli paste in a parat. Include turmeric powder, red chilli powder, bafat masala, lemon juice, vinegar and blend well.
3. Include the cleaned up fish and rub the masala well. Set aside to marinate for 10-15 minutes.
4. Spread semolina and rice flour on a plate. Roll the marinated fish in this mix.
5. Heat oil in a non-stick tawa. Place the fish pieces and shallow fry for 2-3 minutes or till golden brown on one side.
6. Flip and cook on other side for 2-3 minutes.
7. Transfer on a serving plate and serve hot with onion rings and lemon wedges.
