    1. I actually remove the casing entirely before seasoning it. I do the same thing with my hot links before throwing them on the grill. Gives them some great flavor from absorbing the smoke as well as getting rid of that “pop” when bitting into them.

    2. Why would you want to get rid of the pop?? Thatโ€™s one of the best parts!!

    3. Don’t change. all that season better have a blood pressure machine on stand by

    1. Dudes about to die. Canโ€™t make good food without adding a โ€œmetric tonโ€ of sugar and seasoning. This guy seasons seasoning and adds a sugar to sugar. A recipe to half you lifespan.

    2. Eh, the sausage is already cooked. Why would you cut it and dry it out? Oh….to add salt and sugar seasoning. BBQ blasphemy.

  1. I’m actually doing two of these tomorrow and then you post this video at the perfect time. I’m trying this.

    1. @bobtomlyn Yes, just don’t over season like Malcom did at the end. Let the meat speak for itself.

  2. Real men share their secrets of cooking. They’re also always surrounded by BBQ’s at all times. Another wonderful little tidbit, thank you.

    1. โ€‹@joshbibb2527eat it every day without splicing in some salads and your days will be drastically reduced.

Nobody’s getting out of this alive. But it’s still a good idea to be mindful. Wouldn’t it suck to have a stroke and survive? Wouldn’t it suck to have to worry about a pacemaker? Wouldn’t it suck to drop dead in your fifties? Tomorrow ain’t guaranteed. Neither is tonight. But if you think about today, your family might get to enjoy you a little bit longer.

    1. @XxLegitkillcamxSmoked sausage is already full of sodium. That being said, I would still try this. Looks delicious.

    2. you’ve been lied to….salt is not only essential it’s good for you.

    3. @jimmiematho8082 Essential, but in a much smaller quantity than what is shown here.

  3. If I was his neighbor he would put a restraining order on me. I simply wouldn’t leave his house๐Ÿ˜‚

    1. No need to be his neighbor if you ainโ€™t leaving his house you can move right in no matter where you are right now ๐Ÿ˜ญ

  4. Bark, glaze, caramelize and crust youโ€™ve hit every buzz word for a cooking video, well done

    1. Lol yea I was thinking he needs year long tolerance break from BBQ, this vid is the sign

    2. I was thinking this, I would definitely have a heart attack ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  5. I live 10 miles from this dude. He’s representing North Mississippi like a champ!!

  6. Love how all these videos teach you how to make something taste like anything other than what you started with!

    1. Yeah, rubbish tips… seen the video of him using coleslaw to make coleslaw?

    2. โ€‹@johnhipp8267I think there’s room for both.
Sometimes I do want the super seasoned and glazed meat.
Sometimes I want just a little salt and pepper.

I do agree if you’re eating like this all the time it’s over bearing. It stops being unique.

    3. Canโ€™t stand when people ruin the meat by throwing on a ton of spices. Not a true cook and lazy

  7. My dad was doing this in the mid 80s lol .. whenever I do sausage everyone asks if I’m bbq’ ing it now. Family and friends favorite. Tks dad! Miss you !
