Tailgate Strip Steak Sandwich Recipe
– 3 NY Strip Steaks – 14oz ea
– 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
– 1/4 cup Killer Hogs AP Flavoring
– 1/4 cup Killer Hogs Steak Rub
– 1 yellow onion – thinly sliced
– 1 red bell pepper – very finely sliced
– 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
– 2 cups Tailgate Cheese Sauce * (recipe listed below).
– 1/2 cup Chipotle Mayo * (recipe below).
– 8 fresh ciabatta rolls.
Directions:.
1. Prepare a charcoal grill for direct heat barbecuing.
2. Cut the onion and bell pepper into strips and season with olive oil and AP Flavoring. Place the veggies in a 1/2 size aluminum pan and set on the grill to saute. Stir typically and get rid of from heat once veggies begin to soften and brown a little.
3. Season the NY Strips with a little Worcestershire very first then AP Spices followed by a generous coat of Steak Rub.
4. Location the cheese sauce on the side of the grill simply off the coals to warm.
5. Grill each steak straight over the hot coals about 3 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 125-130 ° F. Remove from the grill and rest for 5-7 minutes.
6. Divide the ciabatta rolls in half and grill for 20-30 seconds till brown and toasty.
7. Slice the steaks into thin strips.
To assemble the sandwiches:.
1. Spread chipotle mayo on the bottom bun and layer on the slices of strip steak.
2. Include the peppers and onions then leading with the warm cheese sauce.
3. Location the top bun over whatever and enjoy!
Tailgate Cheese Sauce Recipe.
– 1/4 cup butter.
– 1/4 cup flour.
– 1/2 cup Miller Lite.
– 1 cup whipping cream.
– 1 heaping teaspoon spicy dijon mustard.
– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce.
– 1 teaspoon AP Seasoning.
– 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese (hatch green chili cheddar is what I utilized).
– pinch cayenne pepper.
Instructions: Melt butter in a small pan and include flour. Whisk to integrate flour and cook for 2-3 minutes. Blend in the beer, heavy cream, spicy dijon, and Worcestershire and give a small boil and minimize the heat to low. Add the cheese a little at a time, constantly blending for smoothness..
Chipotle Mayo Dish.
– 1 cup Blue Plate Mayonnaise.
– 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce – finely sliced.
– 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce.
– 1 teaspoon Killer Hogs Steak Rub.
– pinch of cayenne pepper.
Instructions: Integrate all the ingredients in a little bowl and shop in fridge till all set to utilize.

I love steak on ciabatta. my fav way is horsey sauce on bottom, loads of strip, caramelized onion, a little arugula dressed with some nice olive oil salt + pepper, then roasted red pepper sauce on top
