I live 45 minutes from New Haven and have never eaten at Pepe’s. After seeing the white clam pie, I’ve really got to get there!
I tried going there and Sally’s today before a concert and they both had 50+ person lines down the sidewalk haha, gonna try to order a pie to go tomorrow!

Pepe’s is good. Addictive flavor. 100 yrs old in 2025. Sally’s is also excellent, but simpler. Abate’s and Bar are solid, albeit thicker crust. Modern is my go to, after Modestino’s closed years ago (Mo went to work at Modern afterwords), which was by far the best pizza I’d ever eaten. Glad I got to try them all again, after all these years!
Frank’s narration is great like he should do audiobooks or movie narration. He’s such a likable guy and humble as can be.
