  1. wrong knife, wrong pan, wrong cooking, wrong everything guys. Why oil and salt on pan before? How to ruin a beautiful fish. Sorry but this is not the way. Fresh tuna is a real delicacy, next time handle with care.

    1. Best not go to Japan. The amount of things being done wrong cooking tipanyaki is staggering based on your assumptions. Even those two spatula are made specifically to cook on a skillet. Their sole function is to be used as demonstrated in this video. Seasoning the skillet is absolutely normal. I think you need to get out of that food desert rock you’re stuck under.
