    1. Yep. When they put them on sale I buy a couple, cut off steaks and vacuum seal them for the freezer. Always keep a small amount for prime rib. Malcom paid over $10/#. Ouch.

    2. I bought a couple of those this morning. Original price is $15.58/lb. I may get a couple more on Saturday.

  3. best part about prime rib is that unrendered fat. Why do this when you can make 2 really nicely cooked ribeyes?

  6. I did not know I could purchase a prime rib this small. I want to try this for Christmas. Walmart can surprise you with it’s quality meats.

  8. I stopped buying meat at Walmart years ago when all the news about fillers and dyes and whatever came out. It was mostly related to hamburger but it turned me off. Is it actually decent?

  9. I made those walmart ones the last 2 years and they are great! I’m glad to hear the Malcolm approach. Based on all I read, I let it sit out of the cryo wrap overnight in the fridge to dry off more. It is supposed to make the crust better.
