This video doesn’t really do it justice… it’s very much a tailgate atmosphere. A lot of socializing and drinking maybe some corn hole or tossing the football around. And for those who don’t want that, Austin has a lot of great BBQ spots that don’t make you wait within a couple mile radius from there

I went. No way was it even close to 5 hours. Maybe an hour at tops on a Saturday. Food was great. Staff was awesome. The pit master was born just outside of my hometown of Buffalo NY so we chatted and got a tour of the smokers. Only downside might have been cost. Very expensive. But sometimes you gotta go big.
Also, never wait 5 hours for food. That’s psychotic.

Longest ive waited for food was that Oyster bar in SanFran, it was amazing. Wouldnt wait 30 minutes for BBQ. I do love Brisket just not worth the wait. Most BBQ especially in Texas is amazing, Franklins is just a low volumn hipster spot.

I know for a fact that in 2017 I didn’t have to wait 5 hours. Maybe 45min to an hour tops. Food was good though. With that being said, your in Texas! Plenty of places to have really good bbq without such a long line
