Skillet Brownie | स्किलेट ब्राउनी | How to make Brownie | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

The usual dense, gooey brownie baked in a frying pan.



1 1/4 cups butter + for brushing
1 1/2 cups sliced dark chocolate
1 1/2 cups castor sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup improved flour (maida).
1/3 cup sliced walnuts + for scattering.
Chopped milk chocolate for sprinkling.
Vanilla ice cream to serve.


1. Pre-heat the oven at 180ºC.
2. Combine together butter and chocolate in a bowl and microwave it till it melts.
3. Take castor sugar in another bowl. Break in the eggs, and include vanilla essence, and beat with the help of an electric beater till the mixture turns light and fluffy.
4. Transfer the melted chocolate-butter mixture into the beaten eggs and continue to beat till well combined.
5. Sort the refined flour, include walnuts and beat well.
6. Grease an 8 inch iron frying pan with some butter.
7. Transfer the batter into the skillet and sprinkle walnuts, and milk chocolate. Put it in the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes.
8. Take the skillet out of the oven and permit to cool to room temperature. Cut into wedges and serve with vanilla ice cream.
