  1. After filming, Brent reverted back to his old ways and distanced himself from the locals and the reputation is as bad as ever.

Many staff have left or been fired and the owner claims that parts of the episode were staged.

They haven’t followed all of Gordon’s advice, they changed the menu as they say the new items on there weren’t selling and renamed the restaurant.

Brent has since admitted that his behaviour on the show was all an act because he knew they wanted drama.

Lakeview Hotel is still open and Trip Advisor reviews are mostly positive and Yelp reviews are mixed.

In 2019/2020, the rating of Google reviews declined dramatically with many complaints about Brents behaviour towards customers.

    Lakeview Hotel closed in 2021.

  2. the hotel owner is not only a big liar but he’s deluded God bless Gordon Ramsay for trying to help him

  3. It’s like visiting dads house rather than staying in a hotel. He’s gon tell you how it’s gonna be, and he’s not paying to cool the neighborhood!

  4. As an HVAC technician, seeing that minisplit head behind a TV, MOUNTED SIDEWAYS AND BACKWARDS ON THE WALL, made me fly into a rage at this hotel owner lmao

    1. Yea when you’re in a specific industry like that, some of these episodes I have to sit and question where any logic came into play. Im a network engineer and theres another episode that was a small hotel like this that had ethernet drop ports and provided cables because they didnt have guest wifi. Problem with this is all the ethernet drops were connected to whats called a dumb switch (plug in bunch of stuff to one uplink, no control) issue with this is every single device plugged in can see every other device plugged in which I think most people can see where that can be a huge security risk.

    2. Never seen something like that! Its pretty ridiculous

  5. Just have a little sip😂😂😂 she had no hesitation 😅 Gordan was honestly completely flabbergasted with disgusting of the entire place

  6. locals don’t “really want to see you not make it” unless you’ve done something to upset them.

    1. @Chris Landis, you mean using a little plastic spoon and tasting the merchandise? Or, stealing the entire tub of ice cream? 🤨🤣

  7. After the shitty owner talked about the meat stuff, I got curious. In the US, this is actually done pretty well, with “fresh” actually being fresh (not frozen). The meat here in the Netherlands is almost always frozen if you buy from supermarkets (which nearly everyone does). Also, here there’s no law for what is actually *fresh* meat. So it can say it’s “fresh” on the packaging aswell. Completely busted.

    1. We here in the US can get fresh meat everyday. Either at grocery stores or butchers.

    2. @Karen Lackner Do you have any idea at what temperature the meat is stored after the cow has been butchered, and patties are made of its meat, during the time it is stored at the butcher’s, it is being transported from the butcher’s place to the restaurant, and when it is being stored at the restaurant until you order it?

I hope by God it is not stored at ‘cow’s temperature’ or ‘room’ temperature’. I hope for your sake that it is stored at a temperature near, or at zero degrees Celsius.

In other words, near frozen or frozen. For your health’s sake.

  8. When I was a broiler and meat cutter at the Chart House,. We would take all the trimmings from the top sirlo line filet mignon New York steak and we would grind it all up for the kids hamburgers. Always fresh. Always top quality. Always filet mignon top sirloin New York steak.
Amazing hamburgers. Will never get anything like that again.

  9. I knew going in to that Chelan hotel that Chef Ramsey couldn’t possibly repair what was tanking the business , because it was the owners that were un-fixable. It’s probably a sure bet that they no longer own the business.

  10. Anyone else think he doesn’t allow kids because he can’t bear to see kids being happy with their parents, when his have cut him out of their lives?

    1. might be that, but also the guy is creepy and seems to be fond of people smashing in the hotel rooms
having kids around that environment would get him in a lot of trouble

  11. i cant be more than happy that we are now getting 2 for 1 hotel hell bangers!!!! Gordon is a legend

  12. Gordon – *Invites bride and groom to castle for their wedding.*

Also Gordon – *Gives the bride 2 good smooches in front of the husband immediately after meeting.*

  13. If the owner for the first video made up with his son and got united with his grandkids. He would’ve run his business successful cause his heart would’ve open more

  14. 20:03 Gordon’s face is priceless! Especially given the owner’s deluded mindset.

  15. I once worked in a kitchen where the owner was antagonistic towards children. Even had a whole paragraph on the menu that basically said you should not bring your kids and if you do, you may be subject to ejection at any time. I saw MANY people with and without kids walk out after reading that.

  16. Found myself rooting for the 2nd hotel to succeed. Satisfying ending. Good job, Gordon!
