Lazy Jamie. Sugar is not melted.
To be fair, he did say he’s a little bit lazy. He should have dissolved the sugar in water before adding to the jug, IMO.

Sugar is gonna stay undissolved. You should put the sugar in a mug with a little water and microwave a bit, stir, and then add it. Fast and does not warm the drink in a detectable way.
