1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme.
4 ounces entire white button mushrooms.
4 ounces entire cherry tomatoes.
2 tablespoons unsalted butter.
1/2 teaspoon red chile flake.
1 tablespoon tomato paste.
4 ounces pitted green olives.
2 tablespoons capers.
1/4 cup red white wine.
1 15-ounce can crushed tomatoes.
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar.
* Polenta *.
4 cups chicken stock.
1 cup polenta.
Kosher salt.
Olive oil.
4 ounces parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish.
Newly ground black pepper.
2 tablespoons saltless butter.
2 tablespoons sliced fresh parsley.
* Grilled Broccolini *.
8 ounces broccolini.
2 tablespoons olive oil.
Kosher salt.
Newly ground black pepper.
Red chile flake.
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar.
* PROCEDURE *.
1. Make the cacciatore: Preheat your oven to 325 ℉. Location a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the olive oil to the pan and season the chicken with salt and pepper. Location the chicken in the pan, skin-side down and cook until the skin is crispy and golden brown, about 4 minutes. Turn the chicken and continue cooking until browned on the other side. Get rid of the chicken from the pan and reserved.
3. Location the onions in the reserved fat in the skillet and cook up until they begin to caramelize, about 3 minutes. Add the rosemary and thyme and cook till fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the mushrooms and cherry tomatoes and continue cooking up until the tomatoes start to blister, about 5 minutes. Add the butter and chile flakes and cook until the butter has melted completely. Add the tomato paste and stir to coat the vegetables. Let the tomato paste cook till it begins to caramelize, about 2 minutes. Add the olives, capers and red white wine. Prepare until the red wine has minimized by half, then add the tomatoes and balsamic vinegar. Place the chicken thighs back into the pan and place in the oven until the chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165 ℉, about 15 minutes.
4. Make the polenta: Position the chicken stock in a medium saucepan over medium heat. When boiling, whisk the polenta into the stock until it is totally taken in. Remove the polenta from the heat and add in the salt, olive oil, parmesan, black pepper and butter. Blend up until the cheese and butter has actually melted totally. Add in the parsley and stir to integrate.
5. Grill the broccolini: Place a grill pan over medium high heat. Drizzle the broccoli with olive oil and season with salt, black pepper and red chile flakes. Place the broccoli on the preheated grill and cook up until lightly charred. Eliminate the broccolini to a bowl and toss with the balsamic vinegar.
6. Serve the chicken cacciatore over the polenta with a side of the grilled broccolini. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with newly grated parmesan.

I “literally” can’t stop watching Gordon cook
I was just about to post this too. 🤣
Watch him ‘caramelise ‘?
The secret here is you literally don’t stop watching
Your use of the word “literally” is unnecessary. Why do you also use single quote marks.
@@johnnunn8688 You don’t get it so I will explain the joke to you. Gordon says it all the time in every video unnecessarily. I quoted the word because I am quoting him saying it. Went right over your head. I did not use single quotes either, that is incorrect. I used double. You also asked me a question without a question mark to finish the sentence. Just pointing that out since you are trying to correct someone’s grammar and failed yourself.
Gordon, you’re the best. Thank you, Chef!
“Literally” is the new “Beautiful” 😂
It’s littterally me 😂
Still says olivol though 🤣
Jesus loves you ❤️ Please turn to him and repent and receive Salvation before it’s too late. The end times written about in the Bible are already happening in the world. Jesus was born into this world without sin. He then lived a life without sin and then he died on the cross for our sins and God raised him from the dead on the third day. Jesus is waiting for you with open arms. Please turn to Jesus and repent now before it’s too late.
