I absolutely love Pasta Alfredo! I don’t understand why some people keep saying Alfredo is not really Italian which was confusing to me. So happy Gennaro is making it because it puts the debate to rest once and for all.
Because for most Italians the first exposure to the name “pasta Alfredo” is via american movies and tv shows and in those it’s usually done with chicken and cream etc…meanwhile the original recipe like the one Gennaro Is doing here is usually just called “butter pasta” to them
Cause this is less italian than mcdonald’s. It’s just american.
